Blessed

It is such a blessing for me to be a mom, don’t get me wrong, I have my days where I struggle to maintain composure, dignity and balance, but beyond that, I know I am blessed.

I don’t remember life before motherhood…pretty sure the memory of it went with the labor pains.

After having children, I can’t recall a night where I’ve gone to bed thinking, “I haven’t done anything worthwhile today.”

I can’t remember a time where I wished I spent less time playing with them.

I can’t think of anything that’s made me happier than when I’ve seen my children laugh.

I won’t ever close my eyes without saying a prayer for them.

No matter where I go or who I meet, the people of most importance will be my little ones.

Never did I realize the value of life until I brought two lives into the world.

Motherhood is not for everyone…I know that. Honestly, I never thought I’d love it as I’m not a very patient person, but somehow their existence has and continues to transform me.

Just wanted to say a little prayer for you my sisters out there…whether you are a mom or a daughter to a mom.
